Although it's its aimed at the business user, the Acer Aspire One Pro 531 brings up to 7.5 hours battery life and weighs in at just over a kilo. Dell Inspiron 11z now on sale in the US.  After Dell dropping the Mini 12 and the Mini 9 they have released the Dell Inspiron 11z.  The Dell Inspiron 11z is designed to be a lightweight ultra thin netbook, weighting in at only 3 pounds and just one inch thick.

Featuring the great paintjobs, customized XP themes, shell control for parents. We are sure these will be on every geek in the making’s Christmas/birthday list.

It looks like Samsung N510 will be the first netbook to feature the Nvidia ION chipset.  The Samsung N510 is a 11.6” netbook, in some peoples eyes the form factor is to large to be classed as a netbook.  The Samsung N510 will have a resolution of 1,366×768 which is ideal for watching 720p HD video.
