LG-X130 launched in Jordan and Iraq

Monday, 17 August 2009 16:07

The LG-X130 is one of the Company’s newest netbooks, which is light and stylish.   The netbook is equipped with a total care system called “Smart-Care” which also features an intelligent diagnostic engine with live updates, and a Smart-Recovery feature.

LG X130 Launched

LG actually claim that the LG-X130 will operate for 12 hours on a standard 9 cell battery, we will have to wait and see if this is the case.
The stylish exterior of the LG-X130 is expected to appeal to the most style-conscious consumer, but does the specification live up to how it looks?

Specification A bit dated?

• 10.1in display
• Only 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution
•  A 1.6GHz Atom
• 1GB of RAM
• 160GB hard drive

Looks like LG are going to be selling this for about £390 which is a bit steep when you compare its competitors, looks like LG is trying to sell the style of the netbook over the hardware.

It is a bit of a shame that they have not decided to add some better hardware, this maybe due Microsoft OS pricing and LG trying to squeeze as much profit as possible?
